This was an inspiration for "Underneath Your Clothes", a Billy ficlet also hosted on this site.
I have a loop of Jamie Cullum's "What A Difference A Day Makes" on my computer, which I was listening to while writing a few sentences, inspired by a wonderful pic of Billy. After a couple of lines I decided to challenge myself and my vocabulary by having two describing words for each noun or person. So here goes:
"She looked at his beautiful, green eyes. Ran her thumb over his sweet, smiling lips. The slow, soft jazz in the background set a wonderful, relaxed mood. His steady and deep devotion to her made her feel safe. A stable, secure kind of safety that noone else seemed to be able to give her. Her handsome, sexy Billy, noone else." |
