I just had an idea for a fic, and I thought I'd post it as a challenge! *grin* So I hope some of you are up for it! This is your mission, should you choose to accept it *grin*: It's in POTC fandom Write a story (long or short), where Will Turner (and Jack Sparrow if you feel like it) end up in the year 2004. It can be comedy, angst, basically whatever you feel like. It can be slash or het, that's all up to you. What I want you to include is the things going through Will's mind. His reactions to new things, such as cars and stuff. So, you pretty much have complete freedom to write whatever you want, just as long as you use this plot! *grin* ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Please make sure you make it clear in the subject line of your post that it is and answer to this particular challenge. Once all the fics have been collected they will be posted on the PerfectBloom website as featured challenge fics. If this whole challenge thing is a success, it will be a monthly thing and there will be held polls to choose the best one. This is a new challenge!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paris and Helen leaves Troy to live off of the land, in an attempt to save Troy and themselves, just as Paris suggests in the movie. Write about how they manage to leave Troy without being discovered and how they deal once really do have to live off the land. Feel free to incorporate things not depicted in the movie but in the Iliad. Preferably a long story, but shorties are just fine and dandy. Here's another new challenge for ya! Personally I really like this one and I might actually give it a go myself! *grin*
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Orlando is filming a movie on location in Morocco. One day he meets a muslim girl and he falls in love with her. She in turn falls in love with him, but her family might pose a BIG problem. They are deeply religious, though not in the Jihad kinda way, they just have a problem with their daughter falling for an Englishman, when they have already chosen a husband for her. What happens? How does Orlando and the girl deal with muslim/moroccan tradition? Will the end up together, or will the girl decide to follow her family's wishes? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Preferably a longer story, but if you can write this as a short, please feel free to do so! *grin* Any rating allowed, but please be as respectful as possible to anything having to do with religion. I forgot to mention in the other challenges that it is extremely important that you make it clear in the subjectline of your e-mail which challenge you are responding to. Alright, now this challenge is a little different from the other ones, as this is a challenge for a Slash story.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We all know the Prince Paris of Troy is irresistible to women, but what if the same is true for men? Especially Achilles/Odysseus. Write a slash story with either a Paris/Achilles pairing or a Paris/Odysseus pairing. Anything goes in this challenge. Paris can be willing or not, it's totally up to you!
